Christ’s Peace

Christ’s Peace

My peace I give to thee,
My peace with thee I leave
,
Not as the world give I
Give to thee My peace.

Let not thy heart be troubled,
Nor let it be afraid,
Though you will have trials,
In Me you are safe.

For storms will come and storms will go
And through them Christ gives peace
But worldly calm lasts only
While tribulations cease.

The world can only ever
Give pause to any pain
Worldly peace will only last
Till strife begins again.

For there will always come a storm
The sea will always slip
Beyond, beneath its boundaries
Woes come to all who live.

For man is born to trouble
As upward fly the sparks;
Look to Me for peace I give
In tempest or in calm.

Trust in Me though in this world
Trials overwhelm;
I have overcome the world
Know I Am at the helm

Ruling all the Universe
I give to thee My peace
I command the wind and waves,
I tell the storms to cease…

Do not be afraid…
For I have given thee
Peace not as the world giveth
,
Oh come and rest in Me.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Jesus said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace.

In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer;

I have overcome the world.” ~ John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭King James Bible

“…The Lord is at hand.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians‬ ‭4:5-7 King James Bible

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee because he trusteth in Thee.” ~ Isaiah 26:3 King James Bible

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,Please bring Christ’s peace ‭‭today to all who are struggling with worry, stress, fear, anxiety, and depression.

May You bring calm and quiet rest to each soul and assure all that You are in control of the Universe and know the beginning from the end of all things.

You have already seen tomorrow and promise us that You are working all things together for good to those who love God.

You have promised in Thy word to complete that good work that You have begun in us and that You are perfecting us even though we may not feel like it sometimes.

Help us remember to walk by faith and not by sight. Help us remember that You love us far more than we could ever fathom.

Fill us with Thy holy peace that passes all understanding as we keep our minds focused on You. Thank You, Lord.

In Jesus’ name. Amen. We love You.
