Christ, I Come

 A Prayer Poem © 2015 SD HardenAll Rights Reserved.

Christ, I come,

I come to Thee,

With all my burdens

And my needs,

With all my sins,

And all my shame,

And ask You

Wash them all away.

Christ, to Thee,

To Thee I come,

Wash me in Thy holy blood;

Fill me with Thy holy Light,

Purify me in Thy sight

Through Thy blood Lord Jesus Christ.

When You and Father look at me

Jesus' righteousness You see,

Not my sin and not my shame,

For You, oh Lord, our sin became

When You bore them on the cross;

My righteousness, Your life it cost.

Oh Lamb of God, You bore my sin

And defeated death within

When You were raised from death to life,

From darkness to eternal Light.

You left all my sin You bore

With death defeated evermore!

There is no condemnation for

Those who trust You as their Lord

And ask You come into their heart;

From them, Lord, You'll never part.

O Christ, I come,

I come to Thee,

With all my burdens

And my needs.

Oh Christ, make me

Forever clean

And yours, I pray

To always be.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, Thank You for sending Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ to suffer and die on the cross for my sins and for the sins of the whole world. I pray that all who read these words will come to know You and Your Son Jesus Christ and the Power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His love and joy, and come to know their holy purpose in His Kingdom. May each soul reading this prayer invite Thy Son to live in their heart and live forever with You in eternity. Thank You Lord, In Jesus' holy name. Amen.

Prayer to Invite Jesus Into Your Heart

Please forgive me and cleanse me from all my sins.

Please send Your Holy Spirit to live inside of me and make me Your child forever.
Write my name in Your Book of life and let me live with You forever in eternity.

Thank You Lord for Thy word promises I am now Yours and that I am born again, a new creation and that

You will never leave me or forsake me!

Thank You, dear Lord Jesus!

I love You,

In Jesus name,

Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, then believe that Jesus has come to live in your heart by faith! Begin to read the Christian bible. Find a good version like the King James Version or the New International Version or the New American Standard Version. Ask the Lord Jesus to help you find a good church where you can fellowship with other believers. The hallmark of all true believers is LOVE. God is love the bible reveals to us. And the one commandment Jesus left us is that we must LOVE ONE ANOTHER. So find a church where believers practice this commandment.

God is looking for the GOOD in you. If you feel condemning, accusing thoughts toward you, they are not from God.

God LOVES you! He sent His only Son to die for you. Remember this every time a cruel thought attacks you. Jesus CHERISHES YOU. He forgives all your sins whenever you bring them to His altar and confess them. He will help you to overcome every sin in your life. All you have to do is trust Him. He is your victory. "HE WHO IS IN YOU IS GREATER THAN HE WHO IS IN THE WORLD." 1 John 4:4

"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" 1 John 5:4-5
