A Prayer Poem
Lord, when everything.
Around me falls apart,
Help me, Lord, to trust in You,
And from You never part.
Lord, when I am weary
And my path is dark,
Let my love for You, oh Lord,
Not grow cold and stark.
Lord Jesus, when I stumble
Upon life's narrow way;
Oh Jesus, help me come to You,
Help me to trust and pray.
Lord Jesus, help me trust in You
When I am overwhelmed
Lord, help me know You're in control
And that all will be well.
Lord Jesus, help me trust in You,
When You ask me to share
Your cross of pain and suffering;
Your cross You'll help me to bear.
Lord Jesus, help me trust in You
Although I feel no trace
Of Thy Love at all sometimes,
Lord, help me walk by faith.
Lord Jesus, help me trust in You
Throughout the shadow lands,
To know that You are leading me
Though hidden are Your hands...
Invisible, yet guiding me
Down the narrow way;
Lord Jesus, help me trust in You,
To trust in You always.
